How do I use Teams Chat to have a conversations with a small group of students?

Teams Chat is a great way to have an online conversation with a small group of students. This could be useful if there are a number of students who are working on the same topic at the same level. To create a Chat go to Teams and right click on chat to create a New Chat:

Then start typing the first few letters of the name of the students you would like to chat with:

Once you have your Chat set up, all people in the Chat can contribute to, respond to and view all posts from all Chat members. Participants can add attachments, emojis and links to files. If you need to switch to a voice or video call select the icon in the top right of the Chat: 

Use this toolbar to add more people to the Chat, or to share your screen with other Chat members too.
